From Pit to Purpose - God's presence in painful seasons
Genesis 39 : 2 [ESV]
The LORD was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master.
God's presence in painful seasons.
Joseph's success was not determined by his location but by God's presence. Though he was a slave in a foreign land, the Lord was with him. His pain did not mean God's absence; it became the very place where God displayed His faithfulness.
When we face difficult seasons, we often ask, "Where is God?" Yet He is often closer than we realize. We become so consumed by our circumstances that we miss His presence at work in the midst of them.
God had a purpose for Joseph in Egypt, and Joseph was exactly where God wanted him to be. In the same way, God orders our steps and works through every season to accomplish His will. Where God's presence is, there is grace, purpose, and blessing.
Take Home: Don't measure God's presence by your circumstances. If you are walking in His will, He is with you—even in the hardest seasons.
